Good for you Niconcoll, if you're game to eat it you should be game to kill it. How long will you be away? I'll miss you. *wee sniffle* That's quite enough of that! We're very pleased for you what with the Posh Shed and all, but will anyone think it's financially viable to actually fly into it? (Not the shed...the airfield) It's a worry....

have fun!

Why was Fc in capitals and Tws not? Favouritism, that's what it is. Anyway good luck with whatever it is that you do, you'll be missed, gone but not fogotten. Cheery..
Tws from The Croft Lewis
Have a good trip. I hear it is raining cats and dogs down south: so, take the wellies and proper gear. Remember: everything in moderation. As to the mag.: hope you don't have to edit too much. All the best.

I don't think Coll's attraction has ever been its financial viability, although it has lots of others. I will be very surprised if we ever get a regular plane service, but fortunately most people aren't as cynical as I am. We are taking the dog south, when he comes back he will be missing two little bits (ask FC), but I don't expect it will make any difference to the rain..... Now tws, if you look very carefully back through your blogs you will come across one demanding no capitals. Sorry but I'm pedantic as well as cynical. (And I reverse into parking spaces, it's a wonder I have any friends at all)
Nic from Coll
Aha, well if you look I said no capitals after the T of Tws, so you go searching and see if I'm wrong. I'm not gonna go reading through all that garbage again, ( although I have never read it before, I make a point of never reading my blogs, as I'd find so many faults here and there that none would get published, I just check for spelling errors from time to time, although I've stopped doing that now ) Herself reverses into parking spaces too. You're not related are you/ I was in Dundee once and there was this woman coming out of a parking place, so I nipped in quickly, before anyone else got it. However ( you know what's coming next don't you? ) she wasn't coming out but trying to get in. Cheery...
Tws from Icanbepedantictoo
I think people who back into parking spaces should be deflated. What's the hurry to get out anyway, unless you are doing the bank hold up all by yourself.

A woman who reverses into parking spaces should be treasured above rubies. What's a pedantictoo? Is it like a cockatoo?

How high is the shed? I hear I will need wellies when getting out of the kite - how do you get a corncrake out of your air-intake? If I have a wizard prang who picks up the pieces?

Coming in on a wing and a prayer, briefing was," look for the Roundhouse and go right a bit." Looks like a bloody pond, going for a wheels-up landing. Tally-ho!

Nic, have you ever seen what is written on the roof of your burger van? Damn it, starboard outers gone, it`s a flamer. I`m going to ditch at Caolas if someone can move that big green tractor..

OK Tws, I'll grovel, I'm not proud. And when I want to upset you I'll do it deliberately, not by accident, so 'I am very very sorry, and I'll always call you Tws (except for when I'm trying to upset you)'. Better? Don't think I'm related to Herself. Is she a virgo? If I was I might have bummed a free holiday by now. Perhaps we could arrange a blog-house-swap. I'll swap with someone who can put pictures up, just so you can all see how wet it is here (I suppose I wouldn't get any takers then. Look at AC's summer pics instead) PS, I've been to Dundee, didn't do any parking though. There are lots of polytunnels near Dundee. I'm very jealous.
Nic from Coll
tws: i reverse all the time into spaces and actually get it right first time round!! i think most females (and males) go wrong because they do not use their wing mirrors of course i am perfect in every way!!
carol from france
NiconColl likes to live dangerously. A Virgo is only one slip of the pinkie away from Virago. Which is a publishing imprint of course...and nothing else.
Flying Cat from feeling chirpy
Wing mirrors, eh? In our part of the desert we call them side mirrors, possibly because you can side swipe bicyclists and slow moving bears with them I suppose (but probably not).
mjc from NM,USA
I reverse all the time into spaces... surely it's safer than reversing out? Can I be introduced to Potential Pilot Prune?

Are we witnessing the beginning of a Public Private Partnership?

FC - those are dirty words in my line of work ;-)

Ok, so who moved the aerodrome, last time I pancaked here it was just grass. This time its grass, tarmac then grass. Errm, the runway has been turned round a bit hasn`t it? -That`s me on a fizzer!

Who armed that scarecrow with a shotgun? Thought it was a Jerry! No transport from the `drome to the village- but they`ve done a good job filling in the craters on the road. It`s bloody dark!

Poor wee craturs...
