A favourite song:

My favourite song is by Ahmed Zahir. It's called Bahar which means 'Spring' in Dari.
The words compare love with nature in spring, when the flowers grow and there are smiles and sunshine everywhere. The singer is singing to someone he is in love with, but it is unrequited love for him. For example, if I love someone and she doesn't know, then I have to sing this song.

It's hard to explain how I feel when I play this song. I go deeper inside with the feeling. It reminds me of family, friends. We say that music is like nourishment; it is a treatment that helps you relax if you've got some pressure or depression. If I'm sad or missing someone I listen to an Afghani song and it heals me.
