Liv’s innate drive to succeed has her now firmly established within the Liverpool food scene.

Liv took part in the 成人快手’s 'The Chefs’ Brigade' with Jason Atherton. He offered her a job immediately after, but she turned it down to take the position at Maray. Under Liv’s leadership Maray’s reputation soared, with mentions in The Good Food Guide in both years of her tenure at the restaurant. She then moved on to work as the head chef of another big hitter in Liverpool, 'Queens'. During her time there, the restaurant was visited by Jay Rayner who gave Liv’s cooking, and the restaurant, a glowing review. This gave her the confidence to pursue her own aspirations.

An avid traveller, Liv wants to create food that is inspired by the places she has visited and the food she has eaten around the world. The concept of La Bistroteca is based on bistros around Europe, and bringing people together through good comforting food with great ingredients. Her cooking is a modern interpretation of classic flavours and techniques.

Her competition menu celebrates historical heroes from Liverpool.
