Just like Cameroon, known for its Penja pepper, or Madagascar and its world-renowned wild pepper, Côte d'Ivoire aims to raise its revenue with the spice. A booming sector… From a national production of 20 tonnes in 2011, it’s shot up to 180 tonnes today. (Commodafrica). ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Smart Money was in Tiassalé, around 1 hundred kilometres from Abidjan, to meet with Jean-Eudes Kouadio Kacou, one of the leaders in this sector.
