In Africa, the Bamako convention prohibits importation into Africa of any hazardous waste, including e-waste, and has been in force for 24 years now. But e-waste dumping sites are growing, seemingly- unchecked. The ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ’s Zawadi Mudibo is in Accra Ghana, at the Agbogbloshie e-waste dumping site, the biggest on the continent, and tells us what authorities must do to stem the tide.
