"Hi, Sean, " says the Lone Star Cowboy. "Do you remember the girl on Juke Box Jury who used to say, 'I'll give it five'? Or it might have been, Thank Your Lucky Stars? They were both good shows."

"It wasn't either of those shows," Sean says, "but for the life of me I can't remember what show it was. Just for the benefit of the girls, Thomasina and Rebecca, who have no idea what we're talking about, they're shows that were on the television a long long time ago. When a new song came out, they had a panel to judge it, and then played the song, and they voted, with five being the top mark. This girl became famous by saying, 'I'll give it five!' She was a Brummie you see and she said it in a Brummie accent. But I don't remember the programme."

"I think the show was Ready Steady Go!" says Eddie Mahon.

"Not married to that," Sean says.

"Her name was Janice Nicholls," says Des, "and the show was Thank Your Lucky Stars."

"I'm not sure. I'm going round in circles. I'm digging a big hole for myself. I can't believe that it was that show. You're wrong! You don't know how wrong you are!"

"What Janice Nicholls said," Brendan says "was, 'I like it, I'd buy it and I'll give it five!'"
