'What is the origin of the word, pyjamas?'

Sean thinks about where the word, pyjamas, came from, and discovers a connection with a greyhound.

"Boss man!" says John in Creggan, "I was just thinking in my bed last night, what is the origin of the word, 'pyjamas?' I was going to google it, and then I just said, I'd ask you."

"I don't know," Sean says. "But I think it's an Indian word. That's my best answer."

"My late father," John adds, "had a greyhound called Pyjamagame, and it was a flier!"

"I was right about pyjamas," Sean says, after looking up the word online. "It's a Hindi word, which means 'garment for the legs' and dates back to the Ottoman empire."
