But it was Tom "Light Tapper" Spring, born, Thomas Winter in 1795, from Fownhope in Herefordshire that dispelled the myth that all boxers ate nuts and bolts for breakfast, and he was certainly not crazy.
Spring was not just a bare knuckle fighter; he was the All England Bare Knuckle prize fighting Champion.
