I have rewritten this message many times. Nothing I say seems adequate to the situation of wishing happy birthday to a man held captive.
Every day that I visit the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ web site and see that the counter has clicked on, I am shocked that the people holding you cannot see how detrimental it is to their own cause not to release you. Very few had your courage in ensuring that reporting from Gaza really was on the ground. Holding you captive will deter others from picking up where you were shortly due to leave off.
