I found the Telegraph column about impartiality to be spot on. I got the impression the Israeli twist was supposed to be a suprise, but it just seemed to be totally in-line with the standard ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ view - that the real villans are the Israeli's not the Muslim suicide bombers.
No mention of the Evening Standard article here...
³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ 'guilty' of ignoring public opinion says senior executive
I would love to hear your response regarding this matter.
I found the Telegraph article to be of a form the Telegraph often display. It's a typical "looney-left" "bashing" article, one that has some truths. I would be the first to agree that the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ is biased, but it is this bias that makes the information of worth. If it is not biased it ends up saying nothing- what could be more nothing than "Joint Chairman of the Middle Way" (Luff MP). I say the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ is exceptional given what it offers.
There is nothing wrong with bias - as long as it is stated bias. The ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ is biased yet tries to convince us that it is neutral.
The Telegraph accusing the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ of bias? Is this some belated April Fool spoof?
As for that rag citing ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ tributes to the late Linda Smith as evidence of a vast left-wing conspiracy, words fail me.
The film demonstrates the clear requirement for an enhanced information operations campaign. The UK is loosing this spectrum of the conflict. To better the situation one must look at common beliefs and why people fight. There is a clear need to establish areas of security that are defended to allow reconstruction. Such a process has the potential to win hearts and minds. M
I'm not sure that the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ should invite Zak Goldsmith to be guest editor of Today. Is it really acceptable for a perspective Tory candidate and close advisor of David Cameron to edit the show? Why not invite a Lib Dem to edit the show as well or a Labour party member? I've no doubt the Tory's would use it as a PR opportunity, is it really acceptable for the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ to be used in this manner?
I do not often read the Daily Mail but when I do I always feel an urgent need for someone to publish all the facts - just the facts.

just testing the veracity of this claim...nothing to do with this article...
It utterly astounds me that the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ and other major news outlets apparently see no news value in reporting the airing of a tape purporting to be a death bed confession of involvement in the Kennedy assassination by former Watergate conspirator E. Howard Hunt. This tape was supplied to a well known US radio show ("Coast to Coast AM" with George Noory) by Hunt's own son.
