Lord Redesdale

is a Lib Dem Lord in the House of Lords and is their spokesman on overseas development.

He is a hybrid peer having part exchanged the hereditary peerage for a life peerage from the Lib Dems in order to stay in the House after the reforms of 1999. He is the 6th Baronet, is very keen on environmental issues, is the vice president of Raleigh International and he lists his club in Who鈥檚 Who as the Newcastle University Caving Club.
