We're back in Blighty
Good morning all - well we're back - it does feel nice and familiar in our studio but I do admit I missed the sunshine getting up to dark skies that have only turned a lighter shade of grey!! LA really was fantastic and I hope you agree they were some of the best shows we've ever done! But now we have an exciting guest fest week ahead - finishing up doing the show from the Tardis which is going to be fab!
Am now sitting at my ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ London desk, desperately trying to fight the jet lag that seems to be setting in!
Did really well at the weekend - after picking me up from the airport (a lovely suprise) Tom kept me awake until half past ten to try and get my system back in sync. Did wake up at 5 am but managed to get back to sleep..Had a great day taking Nemo (our black lab) for a walk and then watched the footy in the pub. Tom had to go off back to Yorkshire and I went to bed at about half 9 feeling tired. When I got up this morning felt ok but now lagging sooo much - think I might have to have an afternoon of chocolate to keep going until 7 tonight!
Any tips for jet lag please feel free to leave them below!
Lots of love
Carrie xxx

Hm, I usually just force myself into sync whenever I have jet lag. Try to eat your meals all at the same time, and try not to (if you are) think about LA time in relation to the current time. If that makes sense... Just keep yourself as occupied as much as you can, Carrie!

I love the photo of the doily dress and sailor pants - wear them both and everybody elses jet lag will disappear.

I find the best thing for jet lag is to sleep on the plane on the way home. oh wait... there's a problem there!! maybe if you go back to LA, spend a couple more days there (pose like Barbie some more??) and then sleep on the plane back, you'll be spot on...
Cheers,
Gordon
