Dear Webfriends,

Dave here, back with another one of those blog writing treats.

It’s currently night time and I’m legally and contractually required to tell you about my day today, so here goes.

Got up (early) and did the show which was nice. Then all of us from the show, except Rachel (injured), Chris (double booked) and Carrie (interviewing Michael Vaughan from Cricket) went to a swanky private screening of the new Ocean’s 13 film, which was very cool. We decided to bolster the strength of our crew by inviting JK and Joel and Vernon’s producer Neil to join me, Dom and Aled for what turned out to be a bit of a boys outing. In terms of all the Barry Norman stuff, we collectively enjoyed the film and thought it was good. I’m personally making it my ‘film choice of the week’, and I’d advice you to see it when it comes to your local cinema sometime in the near future.

After the film I came home and made myself a chicken, cous cous and chilli salad for my lunch which was grrrrrrrrrrrrreat. Then I had to do some boring house tidying cos Jayne’s been nagging me, and we’ve got her brother and family coming down at the weekend, so I had to make everything look nice. It took a while but it all looks much better now.

Once I’d done all my jobs, I watched the end of the Scotland game (well done to them) and the England game (well done to them as well) and the Apprentice (well done to them….but I won’t tell you which of them I’m saying well done to in case you haven’t watched it yet).

If you haven’t seen it and don’t want to know the result, skip to the next paragraph……………………..it was Kristina and that wet Simon in the final, cos Lohit and Tre got fired and Horsey Katie resigned….ha ha bye bye.

So all in all, it’s been another crazy fun packed day in the world of showbusiness. I hope you’ve had a good day today as well, and wish you success and happiness for tomorrow, the next day and the rest of the week.

I’m now going to bed to get me some shut eye, so until next time

Increase the peace

Dave

Ps: The unsavoury weeing in the sink story with Chappers, that you might have heard about was an isolated incident and not something that usually happens on the Chappers and Dave World Tour. Normally we would always use the lavatories provided by the venue, but in this instance they were ages away and quite busy.

For a full list of tour dates, why not visit www.chappersanddave.co.uk

Your song parody would have worked better if it was a tribute to former world champion and general darts legend Keith Deller. You may recall D:ream paid homage with 'things can only get Deller'.

Here, Dave, you said "her brother and her family are coming down" right. IS her brother not PART of her family like?

Tsschh.
