Chris MoylesBonjour and welcome to the blog of me, Mister Chris Moyles, Saviour of Radio One and singing sensation.

It's day 4 here and this is my first posting. I haven't written one yet cos I've actually been busy....seriously. When we arrived Thursday night, we had some food and a few drinks then went to bed. Friday morning we did the radio show, then I went for a run (Yes I did actually) then wrote some of my soon to be published book. Incidently I have 34,500 words still to write before I go home .. not sure if I'm going to finish it really. Then a bar-b-q on Friday night then bed.

Day 3 I woke up at 7am to get ready to travel to the first England game. That was very cool. Dave and I saw the England coach arrive. We waved at the players .. they didn't wave back. Then today, Day 4, up at 10am. A quick run then I sneaked the camera out of online matt's room and took some papporazzi shots of the rest of the team training. They looked silly. Then I wrote the lyrics for our new jingles. Sandy and Music 4 who make them are recording the vocals this afternoon so i had to have them written and sent by 2 o'clock local time.

So now here I am writing this silly blog, before heading into the local town for a few well earned beers. It is afterall my bloody day off.

Let me know what you think of the shows, and mine and Dave's brilliantly written up to date jingles!

Auf Weeding Zane

I love chris' show and i listen every morning from seven when i get up until eight when i go to work. He is easily the best dj/presenter on the radio at this present time and has the best sense of humour i know. He can sing better than Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra and Robbie Williams put into one body.I love him. Can he put his version of Lilly Allen's Smile on the internet so people can download it because it is obviously the best song since Smile.

Hi Chris & team -

as a German living in Scotland I have been enjoying your highly entertaining coverage of the world cup and insights to German life (I didn't think you could top Herr Helmut and the Radio Kartoffelsalat from Eurovision, but I was wrong)!

And the German lessons are just priceless - though I don't think you should rely on Dave for pronunciation :D

I have to admit though that waking up to the German adverts on the radio has had me confused a couple of times - "am I at home in Germany?" - then I wake up properly and realise it's Radio 1 having a laugh!

Well, off course I'm rooting for Germany to win, but I hope England do well enough that we get some more hilarious coverage from Germany for the next few weeks.

Best wishes from Edinburgh!

We loved your coverage from Euro 2004, and we're loving your coverage from Germany 2006. We know it must be hard for you guys to spend so much time away from home, drinking all that German beer, watching all those matches in all those beautifully crafted German stadiums, but we the listeners really appreciate the sacrifices you guys make to bring us the true flavour of the World Cup.

Oh, and Dave's German lessons are excellent infotainment ... ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Learning Zone eat your heart out.

COME ON ENGLAND!

P.S. It is an outrage that Dominic Byrne could not go. As licence payers, we demand that Dominic is flown out immediately. You wouldn't send the England Team out without Rooney, so why send a Radio One Team out without the News genius that is Dom?

Agree with Stacey - you sounded different on the radio on Friday - like you were speaking with a peg on your nose.

Wow, i didnt actually realise how busy you were, i thought you know, 3 hour show in the morning then some beers later watching the football. Sorry, just me being so naive.

fridays show...excellent. Its weird cos you guys sound different, but i actually really enjoyed it. To be honest, i wasnt that excited about it, i mean i am a football fan, but i am scottish haha. But no, it was really good. Ill be tuning in every morning.

Like i say, i am scottish, but i wish england all the best of luck. I mean if you win, you obviously deserve it. Itll also mean, instead of talking about 66, you can talk about 2006! ;-) No but seriously, im not gonna lie by saying ill be flying my st goerges cross....but good luck, i hope you do well.
