Er, well, here's the thing you see...

Chris Evans | 10:28 UK time, Thursday, 5 February 2009

So, my wife has just rushed in and said...

..."Baby baby, the plug has loosened, it's a ball of mucus and it's fallen into place and I think that's the first sign of labour and so I think we're up and running.

Now, she's not a hundred percent but this is all happening as I type so very exciting, very exciting indeed. She's in the other room checking her books, she has at least ten bless her.

I have been working all morning and am still in my dressing gown. I said it would be Friday honest I did and now she says it's probably a day away, that's how long it takes after this plug thing happens. Blimey, so er...

Rock and roll and everything that's good.

May see you on the radio later, may not, who knows ? Not I, I know nothing, or at least very little.

Cup of tea, that's what we need now, strong with half a sugar...

"Coming darling..."

CLP.

Just read my stars for today and as fellow Caps on here will know this is soo soo true! So guess I should start streamlining. But in the meantime still need much hugs and kindness to help me on my path. Incidentally bingo is a Cappie so how was your date Bingo?!!

As Venus lines up to argue with Pluto in your sign and we head into the Lunar Eclipse, there's a chance you're going be feeling perhaps a tad overwhelmed by life, what you need to do to get everything in your life straight, what you need to get rid of and so on. So what to do? Well, you could just have a meltdown, if you like. That's sort of an understandable thing to do, based on your stars right now. but oh-so-unproductive. Alternatively, you could work harder to streamline your life. That can work.

Oh gaw blimey and I've been in blimmin meetings all blimmin morning and talk about late to the party and I can't even put the blimmin radio on as is similar to library in my office at the moment, and wouldn't want to wake my colleagues up now would I? But there is nothing on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ News so I'm hoping that I may have got here just in time.

Have just realised, I spent a lot of last night not asleep but with proper tummy ache...was I having phantom labour pains? What if I was being all ESP-y? Or maybe I should have just had less cheese sauce.

Oh Christophe, not having had the wonder of childbirth as part of my life's experience, I have no way of imagining how you (both) must be feeling about now, so all I can do is send you (both/three) the very best wishes I can possibly muster, and hope that everything is all fabulously ok!

Good day to all bloggers and lurkers.

I drove home in blizzard conditions last night after the roads were all clear of snow I went training for the evening over the other side of Bournemouth. came out of the sports centre to snow in large chunks - hmmm got into car after sweeping some of the snow off and then proceeded through Charminster, Winton, Wallisdown and down the Dorset way very cautiously as the roads were slippy. Once on the outskirts of Poole the snow turned into sleet and rain and I was okay getting home - this morning the roads I have to use were clear. Were on call for severe weather once more from 6am tomorrow.

I was lucky enough to be at my gorgeous nephews birth almost 4 years ago and its an incredible memory...and having no kids myself (by choice) i keep nagging my sis to have another one..think it may be working too!

Now, where has all the snow gone? Drove up the m62 at speeds of no more than 30mph in blizzard conditions this morning...and now its virtually all gone...bang goes my snowman building plans!

Right...fantastic news that has made us all smile... radio now tuned in and on loud to keep updated!

Chilly start to the morning. Temps around 5 degrees fahrenheit. The strange thing is that we only had a dusting of snow at best last night....... So I'm not a happy camper....... Will catch up on the blog postings in a bit.
