Clear skies everyone, lookout the Lambie Pie is airborne once again.

Chris Evans | 09:04 UK time, Friday, 30 January 2009

So the Chinese didn't happen but...

...the pub did and baby d.j. still not up for an appearence.

Never mind, clear skies over Berkshire today so it's flying time. Half day for me on Friday so already had a swim and a workout and after this very soon on my way out the door to the airfield. Haven't flown for a couple of months so safety pilot required and recency refresh a must.

Tash, a qualified pilot herself, is coming along, for a shake about in the sky. You never know it might work, if she's allowed, which I haven't checked yet. If not, she can get the baco sarnies ready for me and Captain Young.

Very excited, I love flying even though I am the most nervous pilot in the air.

All Request Friday NEEDS YOU... I know we have some early submissions but keep 'em coming, the first record is so important as it sets the tone.

Have a great weekend from the two of us, two for now that is. If anything happens over the weekend, there will be a splash blog.

EXCELLENT TO KNOW YOU ALL.

CLP.

2009.

PS: Congrats to the new Drivetime Mascot Biscuit. You can become his friend don't you know, just give his a poke!

    Morning all

Right, I shall endeavour to be fully mojo'd up to the eyeballs today. Thanks for yesterday - and I really, really mean it. I was feeling a bit down at heel - nothing serious, just missing a mate that's all. Said mate will be back soon tho, and I have a nice meal out tonight with another mate so lots of girly goss and confessions galore to be had! And for once I'm not driving - hurrah!!

Mojo therapy this morning was courtesy of some Libertines, Boston, AC/DC, Echo & The Bunnymen, a bit of The Cure and even some Bazza with his yellow feathers. Can highly recommend it!

Have posted an absolute Anthem above - this is what Mr Russell Edward Brand strutted on stage to the other week - now every time I hear it I shall grin like a feckless eejit!

Will be dipping in throughout the day as per norm and posting the baby weights guesses later.

    Love you all.

Morning guys, hope you are well,

My first baby was 11 days late, it is the most frustrating time because people keep ringing to see if the baby's been born yet, but my advice to Tash would be enjoy it, get lots of rest and try and stay as chilled as possible.

My labour advice would be to concentrate on the outbreath. It sounds so obvious but if you do that it makes you relax and drop your shoulders. I got myself into a complete state first time round, but it's definitely better for you (and the baby) to stay as quiet and calm as you can. Good luck! xxx

Got a bit of a sore head today, went to a friend's for a drink (or three) last night, just what I needed, we had a good laugh (mainly at our husbands' expense!)

ARF request is Good Old Fashioned Loverboy by Queen (same as last week), just because I love it and for my own little Freddie M xx

    Hi Chris,

Can I just say, it's excellent to know you too!

I sincerely hope Tash did not go up in the plane - she's only a day late, we don't need to resort to desperate measures just yet!

For the record, I stick by my prediction that baby Evans will be a girl, and let me tell you Chris, she will lead you a merry dance! But it's a wonderful dance, all the same.

I'm having my hair cut at lunchtime. If you don't hear from me later today, it will be because I am hiding in a cupboard! I hate going to the hairdresser! Hate it!

Chrissie doing it is so tedious but I agree, when it's done and you can sit back and look at it tidy...it is lovely.

So can someone tell LM that please.
