Perfect Playlist: It Started With A Kiss...

Lord Kitchener - Your ChartBlog Needs YouAfter the fight-tastic success of our last Perfect Playlist outing, it's time we put a little bit of love back in the room. Although we don't really want things to get too graphic, so maybe what we need is to try and develop a list of songs which represent a really innocent (but still pretty amazing) version of smoochylovestuff. OK?

Which can only mean one thing. I want the song you had your first big kiss to.

I don't wish to know much about what happened DURING the kiss - we've all got imaginations, thank you very much - but I want the song which you think of when you remember this momentous event in your life.

Chances are you will want it to have been something amazingly heartfelt and potent, a song which is cool as well as romantic, but it will turn out to have been the one smoochy song at the end of a school disco. Something by Westlife, perhaps?

So if you like, you can suggest the song you WISH you'd had your first snog to, but I'm going to need a bit of honesty. By all means pick a cool smooch song, but 'fess up to your REAL one too.

As always, I'll start you off with my one...and as always...y'know...going out on a limb here people...don't let me tumble...

Your go!

The first snog I had with my first girlfriend was, ironically It Started With A Kiss by Hot Chocolate, back in 1982.

    Great song!

Gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it!!

Well, I didn't have a song with my first kiss, since it was by a bin in the street. However, were I choosing, it was probably be something pretty and acoustic-y, maybe With Me by Sum 41, which is the only song of theirs I like, but it's all dramatic and stuff.

    Really cool idea!

I'm sure there was a couple of very silly songs constantly on the radio when I had my first kiss, but right now I can't remember any - and instead, I just remember U2's With or Without You any time I think of it. Selective memory perhaps... :)
