iPhone in hot water

As more details emerge, and excitement builds towards the launch of the iPhone in the UK in November, back in the US.
The filed formal complaints with the Federal Communications Commission as it transpires that the iPhone is not compatible with hearing aids or cochlear implants.
Under Section 255 of the US Communications Act, mobile phone manufacturers are required to make devices accessible where this is 鈥渞eadily achievable.鈥
The iPhone is a phone, a media player and hooks up to the internet. You can browse the web, download and watch video, and listen to music with it. It is the 鈥榤ust have鈥 device of 2007, with more than one million phones sold in the USA since it鈥檚 launch in June.
Whilst the iPhone鈥檚 touch screen interface 鈥 it only has one physical button 鈥 has helped to make it so popular, it was always obvious that this was going to make it pretty . But it comes as a bit of a surprise that it isn鈥檛 accessible to hearing impaired users either.
Is this the least accessible device ever?!
I don鈥檛 want Apple to stop being innovative. Merely inclusive. I don鈥檛 want to spoil everyone鈥檚 fun. I want everyone to be able to join in with the fun. Hopefully, Apple does as well, and future generations of the iPhone will benefit from the lessons learned so far.

Hi,
iphone in germany is only sold by t-online! I think it's not okay, because there's only one price and one seller in the whole country.
how do you think about?

In my opinion apple are playing a very good game of monopoly, as they are controlling the prices, where, when and in this case whom they would like to sell there products.
I can understand the frustration to a point but I am sure that we cannot complain that the handset does not do more than what it already does due to something that was no fault of the manufacturer nor ourselves.
If the handset does not work to your liking then buy another handset.
