1984: Michael Winslow, the man of 10,000 sound effects
Michael Winslow, the 'Man of 10,000 Sound Effects', appears on Sixty Minutes to promote his new role as Cadet Larvell Jones in the first Police Academy film.
He demonstrates his uncanny Jimi Hendrix impression, complete with guitar solo, and shows how he helped out some local breakdancers with his beatboxing skills.
"Every person's physique is designed for specific sound effects," he says.
