Una Duval was imprisoned in 1909 after getting into a scuffle with a police officer during the campaign for women's votes.

In this discussion with interviewer John Ellison, Mrs Duval is introduced to Arthur Barrett, a photographer whose unusual methods enabled him to take a celebrated photo of the suffragette movement's leading figures, Mrs Emmeline Pankhurst, her daughter Christabel Pankhurst and Mrs Flora Drummond.

Flora Drummond (pictured) was also known as the General, due to the military-style uniform she adopted on marches and demonstrations.
