Your Guide to Christmas on Teesside

As Christmas draws ever closer ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Tees has got the guide to add a little more HO, HO, HO to your festive season! Many famous faces will be turning on the Christmas lights and opening events so check out who is on their way.

Stockton

Stockton High Street
Sunday 14 December - 2pm

Entitled ‘A Christmas Feast’, over 20 local community groups make up this year’s Christmas carnival. Stockton’s renowned carnival spirit extends to Christmas with this magical procession of costumes, colour, music and dance. Santa will join the carnival, giving his reindeer a rest whilst he parades down the High Street wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.

Stockton Central Library
Monday 22 December 2pm - 3pm

Christmas Crafts makes its way to the Stockton Library making decorations and spreading the festive spirit throughout the area. There are also Christmas Craft drop in sessions every Saturday throughout December running from 10am - 4pm, so you don't miss out.

Darlington

Head of Steam
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December

Visit Santa in his grotto, you will also have a chance to get involved in arts and crafts, face painting and a mini train ride.

Middlesbrough

Town Hall
Sunday 14 December 1pm

Join ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Tees, with guest performers and speakers for the hugely popular annual ‘Carols for Christmas.’ Tickets cost £2.00 and a limited number are available on the door on Sunday.

Mima
Have a very Mima Christmas
Saturday 20 December 12 noon - 3pm

A fun session for all the family to make Christmas decorations as the big day draws ever closer. For those Christmas lovers who can't get enough of the festive season, or those who might have been a bit slow in putting up the decorations. Santa will also be dropping in so make sure you bring your wish list!
