Rory appeared on Top of the Pops performing the song live.

Bremner contributed to Spitting Image’ and Week Ending and by 1987 he had his own ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Two show, Now - Something Else. Six years later he moved to Channel 4 with Rory Bremner, Who Else?

From 1999, along with John Bird and John Fortune, Bremner hosted satirical programme, Bremner, Bird and Fortune. The most recent series of three episodes was broadcast in May 2010. The series was BAFTA nominated several times and won the Broadcasting Press Guild Award in 2003.

In the run-up to the 2010 UK General Election he undertook a twenty date Election Battlebus Tour - his first stand-up comedy tour in five years. In the same year, Rory appeared in Who Do You Think You Are, to trace his ancestry.
