  2. FULL-TIME Edinburgh City 2-2 Falkirkpublished at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

That stoppage-time spot kick extends Falkirk's unbeaten run to 26 games.

Manager John McGlynn made five changes at the break - and it rescued a point for the League 1 leaders.

Their lead over Hamilton is reduced to nine points, but I'm sure the Bairns will be relieved to get away from Meadowbank with a point.

Troubled City are three adrift of Annan at the bottom.

  5. Accies close in on Falkirk?published at 17:25 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

    Scottish League 2

As it stands, Hamilton are about to move to within eight points of Falkirk at the top of the third tier with a game in hand after their win over third-top Cove.

Edinburgh City are on the brink of an amazing win over Falkirk - ending the visitors' 25-game unbeaten run.

Victory would lift cash-hit City to within a point of Annan at the bottom of the table.

Stirling's win in Montrose leaves Annan nine points adrift of Albion in the relegation play-off place.

  6. Davidson praises Spiders' 'character'published at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

FT: Raith Rovers 1-2 Queen's Park

New Queen's Park head coach Callum Davidson expresses delight at his players' "character" after they came from a goal after two minutes to win 2-1 in Kirkcaldy.

"We asked for that and they reacted very well," he tells ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Scotland. "They showed a real energy and got back into the game with a fantastic goal from young Cammy Bruce."

Davidson also praised debutant Sean Welsh for his winner on the midfielder's debut since moving from Inverness.

"It's just three points, but there's something there and we have to create that wave of positivity."

    Scottish League 2

Stenhousemuir create a new club record after an 11th consecutive victory that stretches their lead at the top of League 2 to 14 points after Peterhead's defeat in Stranraer.

After their 2-0 win away to third-top Spartans, that is the best run in Scotland's fourth tier since Rangers' run in season 2012-13.

How Ayr don't have the lead at Gayfield is a mystery. Logan Chalmers has just seen an effort come back off the post.

Will they be made to pay for their failure to convert any of the multitude of chances they have created?

  16. goal

    Hamilton Academical 2-0 Cove Rangers

Now both sides are down to 10 men in Hamilton.

This time, it is Cove defender Michael Doyle, dismissed for a second yellow.

Surely that ends the visitors' hopes of a comeback in League 1's game of the day.

Now, has this ever happened before?
