That's it from us tonight after a superb semi-final second leg at the Nou Camp.

Chelsea gave it their all but it is Barcelona who go through to the final in Eindhoven on 3 June.

Attention now turns to the Emirates on Monday, where Arsenal take on Wolfsburg in the other semi-final with the tie level at 2-2 after the first leg. We'll be back for that one and you don't want to miss it so make sure you are too!

Chelsea have six days to process this result - one which should bring them as much pride as it will frustration.

Their European dream is over for another season but the WSL title is still there to be won. They host Liverpool next Wednesday as they look for a fifth league title in six seasons.

Barcelona have now reached the Champions League final in four of the last five seasons - a semi-final exit in 2019/20 is only exception.

After defeats in the 2018/19 and 2021/22 finals, they'll be hoping for a repeat of their success two years ago.

I think over the years, the way Emma Hayes has built her squad with patience.

It is tough and it just shows how hard it is, the Champions League campaign. It's a step above and it brings out the good, the bad, and the ugly in teams.

'Allez, allez, allez' rings around the Nou Camp as the Barcelona players celebrate in front of the fans before setting off on a lap of honour.

As much as Chelsea pushed them in the second half of the second leg, Barcelona are deserved winners across the tie.

They are going to take some stopping in the final.

The party has started in Barcelona but Emma Hayes has her Chelsea team in a huddle on the pitch.

They can be proud of their efforts on the night and across the tie. The Blues end Barcelona's long, long winning run at home stretching back to February 2019 but it wasn't quite enough.

Their focus now turns to domestic action and fighting for a league and FA Cup double.

I think it's hindsight, it's reflection. It feels very different when you're in it.

Maybe they'll take that forward into next year, the lesson's they've learned.

Did they use the experience they had from previous Champions League? Yes.

They have had a very difficult Champions League campaign and Barcelona won't want to meet Chelsea at any stage next year.

Alexia Putellas is among the Barcelona subs running onto the pitch to celebrate. Her comeback will have to wait but she and all of Jonatan Giraldez's team can now look forward to a Champions League final.

They can sit back and wait to discover whether it will be Arsenal or Wolfsburg joining them in the Netherlands.

Barcelona have done it! A brave, brave effort from Chelsea but it is Barcelona who advance to the Champions League final in Eindhoven!

Barely a minute of injury time remaining and Barcelona have a corner. The home fans are jubilant.

They're on the brink of another Champions League final.

This is the time now where you have to commit numbers. Get the ball forward.

You really have to gamble and go for it, fight for those first and second balls.

Two minutes to go and Chelsea are going route one. The ball has spent much of the past two minutes in the air and Barcelona have looked comfortable.

Perhaps a touch more patience is required from Chelsea in the build-up, even with time running out.

We're into four minutes of added time. There is still time for Chelsea but it's running out fast...

Some oohs and ahs from the Nou Camp crowd as Geyse nutmegs Jess Carter.

The substitute then picks out Salma Paralluelo and her left-foot shot is headed for the corner of the net before Ann-Katrin Berger gets down to push it away with a strong left hand.

Three minutes plus stoppage time remaining. Can Chelsea fashion one more chance?

Wasteful from Lauren James as she smashes a shot high over the bar from 25 yards.

She had options after the ball had broken kindly for Chelsea. Momentarily it looked like Sam Kerr would be in on goal but no such luck for the Blues.
