Spearheaded by the evergreen Suarez and his youthful sidekick Felix, with Marcos Llorente bringing the attacking goods from midfield and the likes of Stefan Savic, Kieran Trippier and Jan Oblak doing what they do in defence, Diego Simeone's lads are not to be taken lightly.

A back three it would seem for Chelsea this evening, with Reece James and Marcos Alonso given licence to bomb down the wings.

Kai Havertz is becoming something of a mainstay.

Atletico Madrid will be playing four-four-ahem-two. Looking forward to seeing Luis Suarez and Joao Felix in action.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel makes five changes to the side that drew against Leeds in the Premier League last weekend.

Midfielders Jorginho and Mason Mount are both suspended, Andreas Christensen is absent, while Ben Chilwell and Christian Pulisic drop to the bench.

That means starts for Kurt Zouma, Marcos Alonso, Reece James, Mateo Kovacic and Timo Werner.

Mario Hermoso and Angel Correa both drop to the bench as Renan Lodi and Joao Felix start.

Two of the three English sides still in Europe's premier club competition are in to the last eight, with Liverpool putting their domestic form to one side to beat RB Leipzig and Man City making light work of Borussia Monchengladbach.

Tonight, Chelsea can make it three if they can complete the job on Atletico Madrid that they began in Spain last month.

It being a Diego Simeone side and taking one glance at the La Liga table suggests that is easier typed than done.
