South African David Bedingham has followed up his first-innings half-century with a century in the second Durham innings.

It came in 126 balls and included 12 fours. It is his eighth 100 in first-class cricket, but his first in England having fallen just short last season with a 96 at Leicester.

Notts' cause has been worsened after bowler Brett Hutton joined Jake Ball on the sidelines after suffering an injury mid over.

Bedingham has added 56 for the fourth wicket with Jack Burnham and 78 so far with Ned Eckersley for the fifth. At 156-4 they lead by 219 in their second innings.

Another fantastic century brought up on this third day and it comes from Durham's David Bedingham as his side continue to turn the screw on Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

His 12th four of his 126-ball knock brings up his ton as he drives Luke Fletcher impressively through cover.

Backs up his first-innings 58 very nicely as Durham's lead continues to grow beyond 200.

Worcestershire (296-6) trail Essex (490-9 dec) by 194 runs

Worcestershire continue to hang firm at the crease as they edge ever closer to avoiding the follow-on.

Jake Libby (124 not out) and Ed Barnard (79 not out) have now added 151 for this seventh wicket.

341 is the magic number for the Pears to make Essex bat again.

  9. 150 runs

for Vasconcelospublished at 17:00 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    Northants 260-4 v Kent 455

Some nice round numbers for Northants opener Ricardo Vasconcelos - 150 off 200 balls, with 20 fours.

A fine innings from the 23-year-old.

Elsewhere in Group 3, they're delayed by rain at Old Trafford where Lancashire are taking on Sussex.

And play has already been abandoned between Yorkshire and Glamorgan after Headingley was blanketed in sleet/snow earlier.

  10. Durham lead keeps growingpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    Group 1 update

Floodlights are on at Trent Bridge, but runs are flowing for Durham in their second innings.

David Bedingham (86 not out) and Ned Eckersley (13 not out) have added 54 for their fifth wicket now to push their lead towards 200.

Durham 132-4 which puts them 195 ahead.

  11. Foakes leading Surrey comebackpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    Group 2 update

Surrey have just gone past 200 in their second innings at Gloucestershire with Ben Foakes into the 70s. They're 203-5 and lead by 97. It's a decent recovery from 48-3.

Leicestershire are more resilient second time around against Hampshire. Lewis Hill and Harry Swindells with a stand of 60 to take them to 160-4. However, they still trail by 246.

  12. Postpublished at 16:47 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

Worcestershire (266-6) trail Essex (490-9 dec) by 224 runs

Sam Cook has had a bit of a moment of frustration for Essex which has needlessly cost him and his side four runs.

Bowled a perfectly good ball to Ed Barnard which he pushed back to him in his bowling follow-through, Cook throws it back to try and keep Barnard in his crease but it's a wild attempt and it goes away for four overthrows as his team-mates were not expecting that.

Worcestershire looking very comfortable with this seventh-wicket partnership now worth 121.

  13. Bad light stops playpublished at 16:40 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    Lancashire 407 v Sussex 301 & 38-0

More wet weather on its way to Manchester it seems as well.

  14. Rain continues at Edgbastonpublished at 16:40 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    Derbyshire (189 & 71-5) lead Warwickshire (221) by 38 runs

Looking very damp and gloomy now in Birmingham.

A few puddles on the outfield too where they've been off the park since just before 15:30 BST.

    The Super-Sopper is working overtime.

Might struggle to get back on there as well today.

Having lost the morning session to rain and light snow, Lancashire were finally dismissed for 407 a lead of 106.

Skipper Dane Vilas led the way before being last out for a magnificent 189 his 22nd first-class century.

19-year-old Sean Hunt was the pick of the Sussex bowling with figures of 3-42 on his debut

Sussex then survived a hostile spell from Saqib Mahmood who bowled at express pace, reaching tea 84 runs in arrears and have since moved to 33-0 in the final session, trailing by 73.

  18. Can Hampshire wrap it up today?published at 16:16 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

Leicestershire have a bit more fight second time around.

Harry Dearden (62) has played nicely. Some text book drives mixed with some well times shots off the back foot.

He looked a little unsettled though facing leg-spinner Mason Crane. A couple of reverse sweeps amounted to nothing. He then decided to play a conventional sweep only to fall lbw.

Although he may consider himself a little unlucky at the dismissal.

Mason was overjoyed as it was his 100th first-class wicket.

Dangerman Colin Ackerman was induced into a drive off Mohammad Abbas and edged to first slip.

The only thing in doubt now is if Hampshire can finish the game off tonight.
