Time for us to call it a day.

I'll leave you with Stephan Shemilt's report from Lord's, the scorecard - and there will be a Test Match Special podcast to download soon.

If you fancy some more cricket there will be coverage of Trent Rockets v Manchester Originals in the men's Hundred from 18:45 BST.

You can watch Today at the Test on 成人快手 Two, iPlayer and the 成人快手 Sport website and app from 19:00 BST.

We'll be back tomorrow at 10:45 BST, for what should be an absolutely thrilling final day of this Test.

We head into the final day with India leading by 154 with four second-innings wickets left.

England will be able to take the new ball straight away, and will be hopeful of running through the India tail quickly, then setting about a chase that will no doubt be difficult against a high-class bowling line-up and on a pitch that is slow, and showing signs of invariable bounce.

I haven't even mentioned what Rishabh Pant could do...

More from Moeen Ali: "First session we were fantastic. We kept it really tight and they came back strong but we contained them well.

"We knew if we got one we could go bang, bang, and that's what happened.

"It has been a fantastic spectacle so far. Stay in there, hang in there and something will happen.

"The pitch is strange - there is something there, like we saw with Pujara's ball, so we feel like we can go bang, bang and do it."

The situation was perfect for Pujara and he fell back on what he has been doing for India. There was a sense of urgency of well in the third session. They were looking to score a little more briskly.

There were a lot of things happening even though the scoreboard wasn't moving.

Had Ashwin been playing I would have said 150 would be challenging for England. India ended up still 20 runs short of being competitive.

A lead of 140 or 150 doesn't sound a great deal but if India have 10 overs of Rishabh Pant scoring quickly and that lead goes 180 to 200... If India bat 15 overs that leaves England 75 to chase down 200 or 210. They are going to have to score at three an over.

The pitch isn't the kind of one you can flay the ball to all parts. It's fascinating to see how this one goes tomorrow. Even if it was a chase of 150 to win it would not be easy because there is enough for the spinners and seamers. We are in for a gem of a last day.

England spinner Moeen Ali on Sky Sports: "There was two parties - one wanted to stay out there; one was not so sure. It's a fascinating game. We come back tomorrow with the new ball, Jimmy will have it and it could be crucial.

"It鈥檚 been a great Test match. For me to come back and be part of it has been great. Hopefully we can bowl them out and get the win.

"I've done OK. I'm delighted to be here - hopefully I can play my part. As soon as I got the call I was buzzing to come back and play. We were doing well in the Hundred but the chance to play in a Test will not always be there."

I admire Cheteshwar Pujara and the way he plays. On another day you might want him to score quicker but today he just set out to nullify that middle session.

Both he and Rahane were under pressure for their places in the side. Well, they have played well in a pressurised situation. You would like to think they would have been a little busier but from the situation they walked into to the one they find themselves in.

One slight worry for England was a shoulder injury to Mark Wood.

He went back to the changing room and got strapped up, and did initially come back out, before being told he couldn't bowl because of the light.

He wisely opted to go back in, and everyone followed him shortly after as bad light brought a premature end to the day's play.

India's batting in the middle order came good in the context of the game today. The time that Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane spent in the middle was crucial. It was more about settling things down.

We had everything. We had wickets in the morning session where England were exceptional. The plan to get Rohit Sharma with the short ball worked straight away. Sam Curran getting Virat Kohli.

In the afternoon you had a wall that is Pujara. Every run was cheered, and the 100 balls he faced. It has had everything. England will have the new ball tomorrow to take four wickets and then have something to chase. India might get 50 more; they might get 100 more. You don't know with Pant!

Then three quick wickets - those of the set Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, and Ravindra Jadeja - clawed England back in with a chance of winning the game.

They fell within the space of 20 and just over six overs.

Both teams have worked hard to get in the ascendancy. England will fancy their chances but there is still work to do. Anything around 200 will be dificult to chase.

A stubborn 100-run partnership between Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane halted England's charge and put India in a strong position to save, or even win this game.

England were bang on the money this morning, taking three wickets - three big ones of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
