That lead is 274 for Warwickshire and we probably think that they will bat for maybe half an hour or so after lunch. That's open for debate.

A tremendous morning for Gloucestershire who haven鈥檛 lost a wicket in the morning session and have extended their lead from 19 at the start of play to 94 at lunch.
Both Miles Hammond, who has faced 195 balls, and Zafar Gohar, who has faced 109, have been solid in defence but punished the bad ball.
The new ball will be available in six overs time and that could be decisive to the outcome of this game.

Well played Kent, well played Matt Parkinson and well played Joey Evison after the loss of Ben Compton with the score this morning on 139.
These two have actually shown some heart, some steel and they've seen scores though to 203-6 but more importantly,they have taken a number of overs out of the day.
Surrey need four wickets to win. Kent need to bat for two sessions, can they do it?

Will Young (174*) and Joe Clarke (213*) have added 22 runs this morning to move the score on to 440-2 and extend their record Notts third-wicket stand to 192.
It's been a great morning for Young who has gone past his previous first-class top score.
Fingers crossed for a dramatic improvement in the forecast.

Jack Carson skips through the final over, giving up a couple of singles to see Gloucestershire through the entire session without losing a wicket.
Miles Hammond on 71 and Zafar Gohar, 30, have added 75 runs and moved the lead to 94 runs.
There have been a couple of scares in the last few overs with Carson beating Hammond's bat and Gohar nearly yorked by Tom Haines, but the Glosters deserve that bit of luck.
Sussex won't be panicking and Gloucestershire are far from out of the woods, but the victory charge has been well held up.

Fynn Hudson-Prentice bowls a bumper and Miles Hammond pulls it in front of square to the fence.

Tom Lawes is convinced he has Matt Parkinson lbw with an inswinging delivery - but the umpire spotted a thin edge on that and the Kent spinner collects a single.
Joey Evison crashes Lawes through the covers for four and is now 39 not out. He hasn't looked in much trouble this morning.

Warwickshire lead by 253 with a minimum of 72 overs remaining today.
Will they fancy a declaration to set Hampshire a target and give themselves an unlikely chance of victory?
Maybe if they can get close to 300 ahead by lunch they may declare and save two overs for a change of ends.
Scoring at four an over on this pitch has been challenging all match.

An early lunch has been called at Derby, but it feels very much for form's sake - the outfield is awash and there is no chance of playing the hour's cricket, or less, that might be all Leicestershire require to complete an innings victory.
There are huge puddles on an outfield that was already very soft, and of course on the covers, and it's still raining - meaning there's little point in the groundstaff starting the mopping-up operation.
Leicestershire will be philosophical - they were saved by the weather in the match against Sussex last week - and assuming play is abandoned, a maximum bonus point return means they'll take 16 points from the game, keeping them firmly in touch at the top.
