National League strugglers York City have appointed Worthing boss Adam Hinshelwood as their new manager.
The 40-year-old replaces Neal Ardley, who was sacked on Monday after a run of four games without a win.
Hinshelwood, the father of Brighton midfielder Jack, had been in charge at Worthing since 2017 and guided them to promotion to National League South in 2022-23. He leaves them in third place.
His first game as Minstermen boss will be at home to Wealdstone on Saturday.
York have said the former Brighton defender has signed a "long-term" contract.
