What starts off as a brief encounter on the same flight back to Mumbai, ends up as a roller-coaster ride through some of Mumbai's darkest hours.
As they see the city swamped with disaster and loss, they are forced to stick together in this time of crisis. The story shifts between the past and the present听 showing two different people falling in love.
Gradually with time, their relationship weakens due to emotional pitfalls - constant bickering, the frantic and urgent making up, and irreconcilable differences- giving way to a final break up.
And then we see these very people struggling through a stormy night in Mumbai threatening to take over the city, their fears and insecurities.
As emotions run high, the two learn more about each other that night than they have in all those years of being together. Tough situations call on some important revelations and they realise how short-lived and unpredictable life is.
They now need to make the most of the time that has been given to them together in this emotional saga.
Emraan and Soha Ali Khan in Tum Mile
The flood scenes in Tum Mile have been inspired from real life events of 2005 which saw Mumbai coming to a stand still.
Directed by Kunal Deshmukh of the Jannat fame, Tum Mile is the biggest natural disaster flick to come from Bollywood. According to Emraan Hasmi, Tum Mile was the most mentally and physically demanding movies he has ever made.
The film boosts of special effects galore on par with Hollywood standards of movie-making. This is seen in the latest posters and trailers showing a massive storm looming over the Mumbai skyline.
Produced by the Bhatt brothers who are known for shocking audiences through their films, Tum Mile falls in the same category where the flood scenes act as the main fear factor.
Tum Mile's release is keenly awaited especially by Bollywood fans who appreciate good cinema away from the song and dance family stories.
