What if you could borrow someone鈥檚 luck for a day? Wouldn鈥檛 the world go topsy-turvy?
Luck follows the tale of mafia kingpin Musa (Sanjay Dutt) who has one obsession - to revolutionise the betting industry. For him, life is a gamble, and what better way to skew the odds than play with those who have luck on their sides.
Luck is a gripping saga with different characters from different parts of the world, each with lady luck in their favour. With millions at stake, how far will each of them go in courting danger and deceit?
Directed by Soham Shah (of Kaal fame) and featuring death-defying action sequences shot in Namibia, Luck attempts to answer that question.
Luck is an adrenaline-filled edge of the seat thriller featuring teen sensation, Imraan Khan and Shruti Hassan, the daughter of Indian super-star, Kamal Hassan. She makes her Bollywood debut in this movie.
The film also stars veteran actor Sanjay Dutt who sports a different look for his character. Audiences can look forward to his action sequences in the movie.
He is seen jumping blindfolded from a speeding train, with his hands tied behind his back without any cables or dummies.
Director Soham Shah said:
'This is one of the biggest and most expensive highlights of the film. It's his introduction in the movie. The characters are testing their luck.'
'During the shot, precaution was taken in the form of cables and harnesses. If anything was to go wrong there would be no injury to Dutt but he refused any safety nets.'
Luck's death-defying scene was shot in Goa with five running trains by action director, Allan Amin. The film releases in UK cinemas later on this month.
