Recently graduated, these boys are now eagerly waiting to start their new post-graduate courses in the USA in two months' time.

In order to kill time, these fun-loving likely lads decide to join a filmmaking course in India's Defence Forces. But their research brings up depressing results - loss of innocent lives, pain and suffering, and poor living conditions. So, just for fun they decide to make a short movie on why one should not join the army.

With the help of Rhea, Sammy's girlfriend, they meet a veteran war journalist (Mohnish Bhel) asking them to deliver three letters as part of their filmmaking assignment.

And so begins a life-altering journey through Ladakh, Amritsar and Kasauli unaware听 they will end up in a place which does not even exist on maps -听a place where they realise the true meaning of life and turning them into heroes.

Heroes can be described as a thought-provoking drama rather than a war film. The film is directed by Samir Karnik who earlier made the love-orientated Kyon Ho Gaya Na and Nanhe Jaisalmer, which dealt with bond of friendship.
