Up date on What's going on!!

Hi I.Bers....hope you enjoying the loverly weather, as to my last comments I though I would give you some updates, we have increased the Orpington chickens by 2 more hens so the eggs are coming through very nicely, also we have added some new addition's to the family (Black East Indians Ducks only 3 days old (MJC would like that one) and the veggies and Salad are doing great in the poly.

Where did you get the ducks from? I gave my mum some but the fox got them (back in England). I'd love to try again in fox-free country. Aren't tunnels fantastic.

Hi Nic, i'm amazed how quick evertything grows, not sure if I can eat it quick enough lol. Hi Jill yes got these ones as pets for the front of the house as I build a pond last year so they should have some fun.....a friend on mine said we should name them Crispy, pancake, and Plumb sauce, Holly was not impressed.

Soil looks very rich and friable, Fred. No wonder your plants are doing so well. Ducklings: before you know it, they'll be the right size.

yum yum,but Fc we will let them grow a bit more as for now it will be one bite,swallow and-lunch is over,however in a couple of weeks we could have quite a feast knocking them down our throats,(burp)

Hi MJC, yes im lucky the soil is very good which helps, the only things that are struggling is spring onions? Yes FC they are cute...keep ya mits off.

Hens, ducklings, vegetables, handy man around the house... you're practically self-sufficient Fred. Did you see the programme with Ray Mears in Australia the other night? He had tips on how to make water drinkable. There you go, master that and you're laughing.
