I am very envious of your view, Fred, I love to watch the sea and am just back from holiday in Ullapool. I love your boxes, especially the workbench one with the tools - do you make all the little bits or do you buy them? And your continued rapid progress is making me think you have supernatural powers. Pond in the garden, windmill, new kitchen (next), pictures on walls... and you've only been there a few weeks. Wow!

Jill......LOL I make most peices but your right the tools, dishes I buy them, the other bits & Bobs I go try and make myself, like the draw unit im my Holly's room I made that and the box in 2000 when she was born.......the tapestry saying Daddys little girl was made by Sarah my wife, but I just like making the boxes first all back gounds ect then filling them up......I think workaholic comes to mind than supernatural :o) the problem is my mind is always working and wont stop?......but the bodys getting a little cranky.

Thanks, Fred. I am still impressed by your skills and industry! I can well see how you can get very involved in these picture boxes and doll's house making - there's a whole world of stuff out there, I know. What will you do when you have everything finished, e.g. September ;-)? You'll be bored rigid :-) BTW how are your children settling in?

Eh, Fred, did you get the email (plus the subsequent "forward") I sent you at address you provided? # I don't see any problem with the mind always working. The problem I envision is when the brains come to a stand still (a marked slowing down would be onerous also).

Jill, the kids are doing great they start school next week so that will wear them out alittle as they have been off for 7 weeks now and need the stimulation. My little girl comes from a class of 32 children down to 9, so she will get all the attention she needs as for Chris who 14 he will make friends really easy as hes such a socialble kid. When I have finished the house I will go back to work on a part time basis with my locksmithing or other trade only fate will tell, due to no morgage we dont need a heavy wage coming in now? but I ccould never see myself not doing anything, my wife Sarah has a business on one of those auction bidding web sites which she does quite well we have talked about increasing that potential if possible.......I really dont want to work for a large corp business again, been there done that? MJC, sorry I am still working on those pics these will ne on soon.
Fred from Point (having a lazy day)
Thanks for the update Fred. Glad the kids are settling in OK. Once they are established in school they will be fully naturalised! Also it may give you more time to work on your house, should have it finished in a week or so :-) I know what you mean about working for a big company, I am self employed and work from home (I'm a translator) and would find it hard to have to work to someone else's rules and regs now! Good luck, Fred, you're doing great and deserve great success in your new life.
