you're quite right about stand-up being a dialog between ausience and comic ... Good luck with your next venture ... :-)
soaplady from well done you ...!!
...as mentioned on calumannabel's blog...
Flying Cat from widening horizons
Congratulations, you must be chuffed no end! It's a bit far to come from Sweden and then find that one can't get a ticket unless prepared to grease a plam or two with smuggled guga vindaloo.
Barney from Swithiod cheering
New material? You? Sandy must have taught you well!!!!!
Muness from Fetlar
I can see you've been bitten by the lure of applause, Soljey. Good luck with the Perrier... and congratulations on a major success. I think you're very brave!
Jill from EK
What's wrong with being a sit-down comic? I would settle for an Evian Prize. # Guga Hunters has better be a good book in spite of Will Self. What does HE know about Guga? Now, if there had been an effusive review by the original Will (aka Shakespeare), the book would be worth at least another two bob. Remember, Soljey, Perrier notwithstanding (I like Pellegrino better myself), a stand up comic is not supposed to be snobbish (except to draw a laugh). Yes, you are hearing this from the Voice of the Proletariat, purveyor of real crackpot laughter for real folks.
mjc from IN, USA
I agree about not being snobbish. I'll settle for the tapwater award.

So, when is the tour starting?
Ruthodanort from Unst
Well, Ruthodanort, there's the posters, the t-shirts, the 成人快手3 film crew for the TV series and the DVD, the live satellite link-up..........
soljey from Shetland Mainland
The isles want to see this tour. Any chance?
Muness from Fetlar
I'm waiting for the Unst leg of the Round Shetland tour (some of us are more round than others!). I keep annoying Sandy by asking him to tell us a joke! I do, of course, understand that stand up comedians can't tell jokes.
damadcoo from unst
Damadcoo, but you will remember from Baltasound staffroom, that I and the other member of the Twa Fat Laddies, were sit-doon comedians.
Soljey from Shetland
Do you do cookery demos in carmine nail varnish too?
