Bit off putting for tourists to see the old dumped scrap lorry. We are planning to visit these isles in order to escape from the scrapyard of filth and depravity which southern England is fast becoming! Come on, give us all some lovely scenic photographs to sit and daydream over, please.

Thanks for this. What about Moto?

Tourists should be prepared to accept the places they vacation in warts and all...what would I see in Beds?

Personally I really like the way you take your photos. Things don't have to be pretty to be interesting. Having said that, a lot of your images are beautiful.

My thanks for this was to Grimsay not to Liz! Hope you have a good time though Liz. It's brilliant in the islands. And I'd love to see some more Moto!

Great photos of some fantastic traditional chook coops! Some people just don't get it! These say more about the beauty of the islans and their afinity with life, decay, death and renewal that some carefully remastered postcards.

I have now viewed many more photos of your beautiful islands. You all must know you have the best scenery in Europe - probably even the best in the World. Truthfully IF I had been to Scotland BEFORE taking holidays abroad I would never have wanted to go anywhere else other than Scotland's islands. Just a shame I never discovered it's wonderful scenery until 10 years ago. Making up for lost time now though, only four days until my holiday. Brilliant!

Scrap yard, I think the pict of the Lovats lorry says more about the islands than a lot of pictures do, its the layed back, down to earth a place to live. Not a fairy tale vistors centre, but real life.
