WOW, very nice work. Could you tell me why you don't have any trees in Scotland? Is it cultural, historical, logistical, biological? just wondering...

I believe that since the country is quite small, geographically speaking, but quite involved in leading past industry, the trees were quickly cut down and used, especially during ship building eras. On the islands, trees were mostly scrubby and would have been used for firewood, then grazing animals would have helped to prevent regrowth. That my take on it, maybe someone more expert has a fuller explanation.
