Christmas Shopping

I went on a Christmas Shopping Weekend Trip to...............the Metropolis of Kirkwall!
The weather couldn't have been kinder, the ferry trip down was smooth, and it stayed calm almost all weekend.
My Mum woke me early on Sunday morning to see the dawn.
Anyone recognise the big green boat? I looked for DoaD, but I think she was sooth getting that reward!
A few weekends ago, I dragged my wares to my second Craft Fair of the season, and, with the help of Daughter No 1 and Muness Views, had a very successful time. They posed for this pic, and I promised to include it, so here you are,

The picture of Stenness Loch is just gorgeous. Your display looks great, how did you do at the craft fair? One of your assistants looks glamorous but I'm not at all sure about the Lone Ranger on the left. Does he have something to hide?

Imagine being so not far from Anorak Towers and not dropping by to give me and m'Marmalade Chum a tickle. Black Knight's a bit scary... I hope you're very proud of the misty one. You should sell hunners of that one.

Sorry FC! You know the story - so much shopping and so little time...... We did get to Stromness on Sunday, but only to grab a bite in Julia's, then have a quick look thru the shops and Pier Arts Centre. Then off for a tour o the West Mainland. It was a super weekend.. Jill, I was one third up on my previous (and first) craft fair last year. So it was good. The Lone Ranger only has his identity to hide, but I'm sure if you look on Muness Views or even the Fetlar School Blog you will see him somewhere.

The Waterfront must have been aboot the only shop we DIDN'T go in!! Typical. And I think I would have even recognised her 'sans groatybuckies'! Mjc, the misty pic was taken from the west side of the Stenness Loch, going north. No idea what the buildings are, if I had an OS map I could likly tell you, but sorry. Anyone else care to enlighten us?

Scallowawife, u don't have any space left.... Jill, I think it#s all a matter o taste actually. I don't like them all myself, and sometimes it surprises me what sells. But this year I took some pics of Scaadmans heeds. (Scabbymans heeds, or Sea urchins) and they seem to have sold quite well. With landscapes I always have someone asking me for a picture of their own area, and inevitably I don't have one.
