How much does they charge on the Hebridean Princess if you take your library books late?

Transportation for the Hannoverian crowd is not cheap. I hear Charlie boy's special train between Scotland and his organic farm down south regularly costs the British tax payer some 75,000 pounds per trip. Oh well ... perhaps his polo horse(s) go with him?

That's not a polo horse that's his missus he takes with him - but I can understand how you'd make the mistake

Something tells me the island bloggers are not representative of the general population (NO, I did NOT write hoi polloi). Anyone cares to elaborate on what is different (as an outsider, I would not dare!).

MJC, would YOU care to elaborate on what you mean by that? What makes you think that Island Bloggers aren't representative of the general (presumably: Island) population?
Arnish Lighthouse from Stornoway
Perhaps (probably) I am mistaken. The general population of the islands may well have a more pronounced acerbic wit, irreverence, love of nature and literature, not to mention cooking and traveling, than I would have thought. But then, I am an outsider.
