Loch Nevis elsewhere?
hrossey from Mainland Orkney
This is not the small isles ferry, this is the Sheerwater which belongs to Arisaig Marine and is skippered by the knowledgeable Ronnie (although never trust him if he says its going to be a fine crossing!). The Small Isles ferry is of course the Loch Nevis, sailing from Mallaig.

At the time I took those pictures, the Lochnevis was out for a refit. Its place was taken by a relief craft. When I saw the boat (Staffa Ullin), I remarked to the piermaster on Eigg that they must have washed the Lochnevis at too high a temperature

No this is not the Sheerwater it is the ferry we have as replacement for the Loch Nevis from Iona

Blimey, it looks just as bad as the Sheerwater though! How long is the Loch Nevis away for? I'm pretty sure my kids would be sick on that one too!
