Is this a continental recipe putting cats and pigeons together? What wine do you drink with it- red white or maybe a nice Zinfandel? Would it work with guga do you think? This is the sort of cuisine we're looking for.

There is a real drink driving problem on many of the islands. On this island there have been a number of pedestrians hit late at night by drunk drivers ruining many lives. I cotacted stagecoach about a late night service. They pointed out that they did run a night bus between 10pm and midnight, which as we all know isn't late enough. However they made the very good point that no one wants to drive the very late shift as they can't work the next day and the cleaning up is foul. Is there an answer to this? There is a proposal to turn the short stay car park at Brodick Pier into a taxi rank, which might encourage more taxis that can pick up.

I completely agree that given the population the bus service is very good if a little idiosyncratic. I personally like the "informal" nature of the service- waiting for people to come out their houses, pubs and schools for example- and on some routes the drivers/ tour guides giving the island visitors a commentary so knowledgable that SMG is thinking about using them on their new travel show... One heartfelt plea though- can we have a public transport solution from Ness to town which allows you to catch the first plane/ferry. Anyway- hope the weather is there- Im out in Dubai at the moment- I wont share the temperature...

What happened to your promised supplies of Cremola Foam, A S? Been trawling the supermarkets for it, couldn't find it.

Cremola Foam can only be sold in hardware stores as it is quite volatile and has to be caged. Usually you'll find it with the Calor Gas and the cylinders of Testosterone. You've been looking in the wrong place.
