Miss World Stoning Friday 22 November 2002
Last night in Kaduna in Northern Nigeria, around a hundred people died after Moslem youths rioted in the streets.

They were objecting to a newspaper article which had linked the Prophet Mohammed with the Miss World contest.
The beauty pageant is currently being held in the country with the final due to take place in the capital, Abuja on 7th December.
This year's event has been dogged with controversy. Several contestants had already pulled out in protest after a thirty year old mother of three, Amina Lawal was convicted of adultery and sentenced to death by stoning.
Dan Isaacs, the 成人快手 correspondent in Nigeria talks to Amina Lawal in an exclusive interview for Woman's Hour.
Glenys Kinnock MEP and Dan Isaacs join Sheila to discuss.
