The portrait painter Johannes Matthaeus Koelz, was forced to flee Germany with his family in 1937, after he refused to paint a portrait of Hitler.
His daughter Ava Farrington, just a baby at the time, has spent the last decade trying to piece the story of her father's life together.
Both her parents refused to talk about the incident, and after her father's death, Ava had just one lead - an old photograph of her father's greatest and largest work - an anti-war triptych.
Recently more information has come to light with the publication of a sketch of Hitler by Koelz from 1936.
So did he really refuse to paint Hitler? Ava explains to Jenni what the discovery of the sketch means to her.
