Primatologist and wildlife campaigner

Jane Goodall is the world鈥檚 most famous primatologist and a high-profile campaigner for animal conservation. She is a UN Messenger of Peace and her many accolades include the Kyoto Prize, a UNESCO Gold Medal Award, Dame of the British Empire and France鈥檚 Legion d鈥橦onneur. She is best known for her 45-year study of chimpanzee social and facility interactions in Tanzania, and this year marks the anniversary of her first trip to the Gombe National Park where her pioneering behavioural research began. She joins Jenni to discuss her new book which gives an optimistic message about the future of animal species throughout the world.
