The atmosphere in the World Cup is intense because expectations are very high even though the Spanish are the under achievers. Over the last few years, they didn't do very well.
Spaniards are always very noisy - clapping and cheering, 'ole ole' every time they pass the ball. It's like our bullfighters - moving the ball around where no one can touch us. It's 'ole, ole, ole' everytime!
Here in Manchester we usually go to a pub where they're not showing the English games as the Spaniards never make problems and we're keen to avoid the hooligans if we can. We just like to make fun. When the English games are on, it gets so intense, we prefer to watch it at home. Ultimately we just want to have a laugh.
