Tiny the two-toed sloth
Tiny is the smallest sloth the sanctuary has ever cared for.
When he arrived he was just days old, so small his umbilical attachment was still evident.
The team had to rush out to collect him from the local fire station where he had been taken by a well-meaning passer-by, after being discovered on a beach alone and without his mother. After arriving back at the sanctuary he was given an examination and fed fluids to stabilise him.
Despite his size Tiny is a little fighter, and has to go everywhere with Sam, staying attached even when she鈥檚 doing the housework.
Tiny鈥檚 big mission is to feed fast and grow, but his journey is interrupted by a mystery illness.
