A self professed 'Culture Vulture' for everything Punjabi, Sukhi Bart seems to quite literally have his fingers in every Punjabi pie.
A member of the Bhangra dance group Gabhru Punjab De, a familiar face on BritAsia TV, a Wedding DJ and a song-writer for artists including Jazzy B and Labh Janjua, how does he have time to present on radio?
Sukhi began his radio career working at various community radio stations, before getting his big break in the commercial media hosting 'Chak de Phatey' on Channel Panjab. He soon moved to BritAsia TV to present the UK Bhangra Culture Show and the talent show BritAsia Superstar. He has also starred in various TV dramas and theatre performances.
With his current move to 成人快手 Asian Network to present Weekend Punjabi, two hours of Punjabi music, culture and interviews, the man with a 'passion for the Punjab' has surely landed his dream job.
