He left university when his parents went back to Poland and he couldn’t afford to finish his course.
Stefan's life changed when one of his lecturers – Marcus Johnson, who had recently joined the Serious Fraud Office - came looking for him and offered him a job.
He's a British citizen although he didn’t arrive in England until he was eight and is now twenty-six and living with a gang of fellow-Poles. So, Stefan is never quite sure which world he belongs to.
