Steadfast
No-nonsense Steadfast, ranked MedTech One, is the second of the colonists to wake from their frozen state. A de-facto leader of the human posse, he demands to know what has happened and is appalled to hear about the deaths in the city.
Ignoring the Doctor's pleas to listen and negotiate with the Emojibots, Steadfast thinks the only way to solve things is to fight back. The Doctor is frustrated that Steadfast reaches for their guns so fast: ‘Human beings. Awake for less than an hour, and it's war already.’
Oh those pods, eh? There's not much headroom, is there?
The only way to convince Steadfast that violence is not the answer is to restart the Emojibots… Now the only thing Steadfast needs to negotiate is rent money!
