Anjelli Wignakumar

Anjelli has been learning Bharathanatyam for 15 years and is currently under the tutelage of Smt Usha Raghavan. She has performed extensively in productions across the globe including India, Sri Lanka and Paris. Taking part in both group and solo performances, she recently organised a solo fundraising show in aid of charity. Balancing a medical degree at Imperial College, London, and hockey matches, Anjelli still finds time for regular dance lessons. She believes her mum, who was a classical dancer herself, brought her into the world of dance and her own passion keeps her there.
